Went here for the first time after lunch today (Tuesday 9/25). It was chilly where I parked at the Mueller Park trailhead, mid 50s according to the car thermometer.

Rode down to Bountiful Blvd and up Canyon Creek Road to the start of the North Canyon trail. As advertised, the mile of doubletrack was steep. A little rutted in spots but not bad at all. The cool air was quite welcome. The rest of the North Canyon singletrack to Rudy's is in very good shape. Nice view up top with the leaves changing and the fog obscuring the higher slopes.

The Mueller Park trail down from Rudy's flat lived up to my expectations; it's smooth, fast, and just keeps going. Sadly it was over all too soon. GPS said just a hair over 13 miles, car to car. At least I was in the neighborhood for Chipotle.

Great ride, I'd like to get it once more before winter.
