[Trip Report] Winter Camp + Repeat

Decided on Winter Camp/Repeat for our one day mission from Colorado. Left Gunnison (CO) at 0610; we were at the rap by 1030. Did WC, grabbed the rope, and then hiked into the bottom of Repeat. The cow is still there, see the appropriately titled other thread. Also, the 4WD road listed on www.climb-utah.com (http://www.climb-utah.com) has been closed for revegetation by the BLM so you gotta park on the road now. Back to the ca by 1500 and back home by 1930. Not much else to say except I was surprised at the overall quality of Winter Camp. It may not be the deepest/darkest/narrowest but for being less than 4 hours away, it was a surprisingly good day trip to see two new canyons. Also, it would be fun to spend a day or two exploring and dropping all of the side mini slots that pour into this canyon.
