I have a permit for the Subway friday- Does anyone have any information about condition since the flash flood last week?

Check out www.candition.com (http://www.candition.com). There is a recent review of The Subway there.
If you are interested in some good karma, consider leaving a review on www.candition.com (http://www.candition.com) when you return. :2thumbs: I'm sure others will be interested in what you will see since the sand in the canyon is probably migrating right now.

A sand-filled Subway is always a bummer.
This is from Candition from 8-23-12: "when the canyon flashes like this, how long until the sand usually washes out and it returns to "normal" conditions??? "
I think it normally takes a good year to rinse it out, usually with the snowmelt in Spring. Flashing will fill it up with sand, but spring run-off usually scours and cleans it.

Ah, that makes sense given the low summertime flow in The Subway. Sand won't migrate at that rate.
Have fun Cactus Ed!
