Best Panfish lure ever is a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jig with small tube, tipped with a worm for bluegills or minnow for crappies. I especially like red with chartreuse or black tails.

I do agree with this set up. We used to catch hundreds (literally) of crappie at Brownlie and/or Oxbow dam on the Snake River in Idaho. They would take this jig so many times the tube would be mangled.
