salewa fire vent shoe

Has anyone had any experience using the Salewa Fire Vent shoe for canyoneering that they would like to share? Trying to decide whether to buy a pair to have a lighter option than using my 5-10 Canyoneers all the time.

Ive been eyeing that shoe for a while, I was wondering the same thing. Looks like someone needs to take the plunge.

They will never hold up in the skinny stuff. All that gingerbread stringy crap will be destroyed after a hard day of canyoneering.

They might work OK in the girlfriend and kiddie canyons.

I've been using a pair for a couple months. Real nice "access" shoe. Precise fit, sticky rubber, climbs well, but haven't used them in the water yet. Not sure I will? I like my L.S. Xplorer's for the water so far.
