Henry Mountains?

Thinking it might be cooler for camping and exploring than our usual desert environs. Has anyone been up there this summer? Road conditions? It must be at least ten years since we last camped up at McMillan Springs and Lonesome Beaver CG. Any info appreciated.

Also wondering which hikes are good. We have only hiked from Bullcreek Pass to peak of Mt. Ellen.
