Pleiades 21 July 2012

Four of us went down to Moab and hit Pleiades on Saturday. It was awesome! We didn't use wetsuits and only really got wet up to our knees. We did two laps. On our first one there was a guided group in front of us and we had to wait a while. On our second lap we went for speed and got from the top of the first rap to standing in the creek at the bottom in 38 minutes! I don't know what kind of record that is, but we were pretty pleased with ourselves, and we were pretty sure that with a little more practice we could have shaved a lot more time off of that. So, awesome day in the canyon and everyone had a good time. :cool2:

Accidentally leaving a carabiner at the top of the second rappel is always an excellent excuse to run the route again. :mrgreen:

I was just noticing the differences in water you can experience in Pleiades.

These two pictures are at the same spot. One in May and the other in July.
