Looking to increase my reference library. I have recently been offered a climbing rack to use whenever I would like as well as personal instruction from an experienced climber. However, I'm still quite a bit intimidated by trad climbing and would like to work it through in my mind before heading out. Can anyone recommend a good book that covers trad climbing real well?

I am considering Rock Climbing Anchors: A Comprehensive Guide http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Climbing-Anchors-Comprehensive-Mountaineers/dp/1594850062/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

Wondering if there is anything a little better?

Thanks!

That Luebben book is great.

Some of the general climbing books do a fair job. I've always like the British "Handbook of Climbing". MFOTH's is popular, and covers a lot more ground than just setting protection.

Luebben's "mastering basic skills" is good as well.

Thanks for the help. I'm very intrigued by this style or climbing. at least from my perspective, the learning curve seems to be large to do it correctly. I look forward to begin reading in your suggestions.
