A word to the wise, be very careful when you give Gene ( MtnBkr ) free reign to guide you on a bike ride. We ended up riding 20 miles with ~3200 feet of climbing. All in all it was an incredible ride, though a couple guys in our group were battling the heat and cramps on the final climb up Sardine. We also had to ride Ice Box in the semi-dark, but that just made it all the more interesting.

The climb from Art Nord, past Green Pond is some of the most fun I have ever had climbing. Nice windy trail, and a gentle enough grade that we stayed in our middle rings and kept up a fair bit of speed on the climb. The climb up Sardine was a bit harder, but that could also have something to do with the accumulated miles at that point. From the top of Sardine, all the way down the switchbacks, and to the bottom of Ice Box was an incredibly long, and awesome descent. I look forward to getting back there to do some more riding.

A brief look at our ride:

No other pictures unfortunately as I am just way too lazy to take a camera with me usually.
