As I was perusing the internets I happened upon this free bicycle mechanics class offered by the Bicycle Collective on Mondays. http://www.bicyclecollective.org/en/programs/classes

Has anyone done these? Are they any good? I like to work on my bike but often it becomes trial and error, like every time I adjust my rear derailler... Plus I would get some volunteer time and feel better about myself as a human being. Just wondering if it would be good instruction or if it would be more of the same of when I work on my own bike, just figure it out as I go...

Anyone with experience with these classes please chime in. They are free!!!!!

The PunchKing.

I went to them last year. They aren't bad. The summer heat in that building may kill you.

Probably good advice Luce, maybe this fall... I guess there is no class this week anyway.

I'm in for the Summer schedule starting July 9th. I have always wanted to be a Park Tools certified bike mechanic :cool2:
I could probably use their riding classes too. :bud:

Right on Keith, you can go to the classes and then get right back to work afterward.
