I shot the "traditional", "Classic" factory butte shot right at sunrise. After the sun got up too high, I packed up and started driving back. A mile or so down the road, the sun went behind a little cloud (30 miles away from me) and put a band of shadow right on the main face of the butte. I turned out to me a much more compelling image that the "classic" shot. Converted to B&W to bring out texture and because of the flat sky.
