Smoke plumes are getting exponentially larger with the winds today. Hope anyone living down this is safe.

Folks heading down I-15 to Zion may want to plan alternate routes.

Hmm.....that reminds me...I need to do some welding out by our farm next to some dry grass. Perhaps I should smoke my cig and toss it in the bushes too since Im cool like thay. And when I'm done - ill do some target practice shooting out in my extra dry field. Hmm I have some gasoline canisters I can shoot as well...

And to top off my busy day, I think I will start a bonfire in my dry field as well. I hope there is no wind nearby...

Hmm...what else I can do to stay busy in southern Utah....?

Maybe I'll practice my flame-throwing skills out in my dry field as well. Haven't practiced those for a while as well.

Maybe I should light my gasoline-soaked fireworks in the dry field as well. I need to prepare for the 4th of July ya know...

you could blow up a trailer with some tannerite.

You might try a cutting torche on a house trailer frame in the middle of dry june grass like those two idiots on the rez did last year.:facepalm1:

Exactly what I was getting at! It's almost a game now as to guessing how many new human-caused fires will start in a day...

aye aye aye...

393 Human caused fires in Utah this year while only 45 caused by lightening. And the human caused ones are slightly larger on average.

I really think we need to start charging people with heavier crimes when they start wildfires. This would obviously require creating better laws and educating citizens but it seems like we have entered a new era of municipalities affected by fire that demands a response.
