Does anybody besides me hate this with a passion?
Seems I'm always way to looped to get it together in time for my next ride however it sure is nice to ride with a fresh Helmy.
I am always worried about messing up the little snap buttons.:facepalm1:
And lining them up when ripped is a hazard in itself.
THe plus side is I can't ride in the morn the neg side is if I don't get it togejhter now I may very well loose some parts.
Ahh but wed. morn is a good to go thing. Should only be 107 *by 2 or 3 pm. I'll be toast by 2 for sure.
OK think gallons of water between her and there. And find some new to me single track fast and early.LOL
Or just say FRIGET and head straight to the high stuff and worry about the dez single later.
Yep I bet that old helmet goes together fast now that I'm thinking high country.
I can almost smell a doobie in this way of thinking either that or I lost one close by .

Oh hell yes .
It kinda feels like brushing your teeth first thing in the morning. Oh what a feeling baby.
It comes apart just for laundry LOL (the inserts) and it does get ripe from time to time so it's all good. But it is all so nice after it is washed just before you wreck it again with tons of sweat and dirt, and dust by chasing others in the dry country.
give me a minute and I'll give you the idea with some picts.
Now that this hole thing has changed it will be several beers and not just a minute for sure.:bandit:
But trust me when they are nice and clean it works on the mental edge or maybe just it's mental.:lol8:
But the reason I hate dealing with it is when you go to snap it alltogether again you end up fighting all the way . Tight and it never ever goes without head aches due to everything being blind sided and has to line up just perfect and all.
But the part I hate most is snapping it all together again It sucks and It's a pain in my arse most of the time.
Let me put it this way. Look at your couch, Now imagine that the back has three little snaps that are hiddin and you have to line it all up just withing a fraction of an inch but it is all on the blind side of things right.
Well with a Motorcycle helmet it has a few extra probs as you line it up because there is little lips that have to tuck into certain grooves all at the same time before you can find these blind snaps. Sometimes it goes together right and easy and other times mostly you end up fighting it all the way.
But yes I do wash in the clothes washing machine mi inside helmet about once a week or so. Funny huh

Bottom line is it's great when done and a pain while doing it.
It amazes me that some people have no understanding that yes this is a race helmet and not a hard hat like with climbers, scaters, mtb, cavers ect. but a full on race helmet like they use in duh race cars.
And yes you can launder them as needed. ( yes D you do wash the real stuff ) But what I was trying to get across to THE RACERS and riders is it always is a pain to get put together right and secure. Something I never look forward to.....................Never an easy thing for me anyways.
Anyhow they can be washed trust me Brothers and sistas. LMAO
