Went down middle echo last Friday with the kids (15, 12 & 10) - had a great time! The bolts and webbing are in adequate shape except for one hanger is looking quite rusted, I believe it was the second drop. Did not have the tools or time to replace so make sure to verify all anchors prior to use. The "Toilet Bowl" pothole is full of logs and debris and the escape was a bit tough for the kids to do without assistance so be ready to help less experienced/smaller people through it particularly as the water level drops some more this summer. Please note, there is no more ice or snow any where in the canyon but the water is still quite cold. We ran the canyon using well made 4/3 full suits, booties and gloves and were fine but did not have any delays getting through the canyon - Do not attempt this canyon without wetsuits right now! Go out and enjoy this canyon! It is a great canyon just to go have fun in or to take beginners through without the crowds of Keyhole.

For you dads out there - these same three kids who were fighting over the stupidest stuff on the car ride out to Zion were helping each other down the canyon the whole way! It is a great thing watching your kids work together to solve problems and make sure each other is safely navigating down canyon.
