North Canyon to mueller

Redspecialized and I rode the North canyon trail to Rudys flat and down to mueller park. It sprinkled a little and hailed on us at the top of North canyon. It was 101 degrees yesterday at 4:00 pm and now today at 5:30 it was 45 degrees and even colder the higher that we went up into the canyon. I actually had to stop 4 different times because my hands were so numb from the cold wet temps. I only took a couple of pictures, one of this poor baby skunk that was dead on the trail and then a picture of my bike at the white rock area.

here are my pics, man was it cold. my fingers were so wet and numb from hitting all the over growth. despite that, that is way fun. not a lot of peddling got the amount of down you get. Best part is, there wasn't anyone on the trail so you didn't have to stop every min. to let people by.

Thought i'd Better get you on camera in case the snake struck. Be careful looking at snakes for to long, people might think you like them....?:eek:
