English canals and a weekend boy's trip in three narrowboats

Last weekend myself and 21 friends enjoyed labouring three 70-foot narrowboats through a few miles of England's glorious canal network.

Lots of fun in negotiating the locks, interspersed with lazy miles of flat motoring at 4mph with the occasional beer to lubricate dry throats. Canal-side pubs provided adequate beer and victuals of the evenings.

It's the youtube short links that don't work, ie youtu.be rather than youtube.com. We are pushing out an upgrade hopefully this weekend that will solve this :)

FYI, we fixed this issue last night. You can now embed the "short link" from youtube :mrgreen:
