Still sore today! Usually means I had a good weekend. :lol8:
Went through Mystery with my usual crew, plus we had 1 noob. She said it was one of the most amazing places she had ever seen. I think we hooked a new member on the sport! Had a blast, was literally a perfect day. Just forgot bug spray and the biting flies were mildly annoying. Nothing serious though.
I lost the coin toss and had to carry the rope down the shale 1000 foot calf burner entrance. Wooo! Also had a huge crowd at the bottom into the narrows and they clapped for us. Could have been my awesome moss powerslide action though, not sure. Didn't bring the GoPro this time, but should have. The most amazing part was rapping into the grotto and all the hanging gardens were in bloom with these gorgeous purple flowers. Just amazes me a plant that lives in a crack and has trouble growing vertical with zero soil, still has time to sprout such amazing flowers.
Went to our usual Oscar's hangout but it was too crowded so we instead went next door to Pizza and Noodles or something like that. Nice little place and highly recommend, delicious.
