So I had a chance yesterday to throw on a new rear tire before the shop said closed.
Sat ride in warner was good but I had to cut it short as my rear tire needed attention.
Hit the shop by 4:00 pm Sat. and Sunday was spent in Mesq.,NV. The temps and ride was on.
Pict. #1 from a previous ride sent to me by our friend Chet last winter when he hit Provo on the way home after a Mesq. ride.
Pict. # 2 is a shot of the three corners or Utah ,Nevada and Arizonia from afar.
Pict. #3 is same shot but slightley zoomed from were we hit it from.

Dang near 100 degrees and the sand was as dry as the Sahara= Turn em and burn em.
Great day to ride and still cooked ma her favorite meal o the ole bar b q today.
Found some new stuff out there today that was a great change up to the deep sand whoops that was fantastic rockless brown dirt with just a skiff or two of red sand blow overs.
The trick was hang a left from the high spead power line rd that meets the deep red sand wash heading straight south. It takes you to some cattle water tanks with some fantastic roads for horse play.
I did give my yz a dirt nap on one corner when she hooked up to well and I could not recover from that wheel stand.:2thumbs:

Don't let the heat stop you boys just drink plenty of beers, I MEEN water.
It was a great day out and the heat was simple.

OH and the new rear is a Michie 604 with a 603 up front and I think I'm in love.
:ride:

On a bit of a side note: I just about hit a 14" desert Turtle on the power line section but I left the camera in the truck to cut as much weight as I could today.
Big old boy that just tucked up as I darn near hit him.
That does not happen often.
But that makes 3 now. He was by far the biggest one yet however.
