Garmin GPS Basecamp question

Does anyone have an Garmin Oregon 550T, and have trouble with it interfacing with the Basecamp software? I have trouble transfering data back and forth. I also need some advice on how to build a track when I am actually on the hike.

did you ever get an answer? i have a 550 (not sure which one) i use BC cause i have to and love mapsource. if u want more info, let me know in more detail what the issue is.. tks GREG rudowsky
