Another great group ride on Mueller Park. The crowds on the trail are steadily increasing, including our own. We had 10 riders last night.

We still only made it up to the rock, but the Flats should be accessible by now. We're just starting too late to head all the way up there without coming back down through the trees in the dark, which we've done too many times. And it gets DARK in them thar trees just after sunset.

And by the way, this ride was dedicated to Garbanzo

Yes the trail is in great shape all the way to Rudy's Flat. Just a couple of downed trees, but there are some temporary trails going around them.

That was a fun ride guys. Thanks for the invite. That's one of my favorite trails. Oh, and thanks for putting up with my dogs.

Your dogs did great. How long have you been riding with them?

They've been running along with me for a couple years now. They struggle a bit with their endurance and the wear on their pads for the first couple rides of the season, but just like us, they have to get conditioned. Now they do awesome keeping up and they are getting pretty good at staying right by me and out of everyone else's way. They still chase an occasional deer here and there, but i'm still working on that with them. Lol.

Have you ever thought about putting bells on them for the downhiller that's flying down? Or are they pretty quick to move?

They never get in front of me, even on the uphill sections. So if there was someone flying down the trail they'd hit me, not the dogs.
