Thought Bogley would be a good starting point for this. So I have a older brother (35yrs-old) who wants to do some great Alaska fishing on the rivers that he keeps hearing about. He wants to have a guide show em to the area and stay with him for a few days.

My brother Brian is also a small plane pilot, and Im sure he wouldn't mind flying to some of these areas too.

He just wants something off the radar, river-fishing, multi-day, excursion.

Any advice on prime season to go, people for hire, locations, etc.?

lots of options up there. as an alaskan fishing guide for 16 years i have a few ideas for you but need some more info to really give some good ideas. what kind of fish is he looking to catch. their are 5 kinds of salmon and they all come into the rivers at different times of the season depending on season. if he wants to catch huge rainbows then bristol bay is the place to go. i would suggest a float trip on one of the rivers. i will be up their this summer doing some guiding as well as flying. send me a pm and maybe we can come up with something that he will like
