Kolob

Has anyone been down Kolob this year? I'm wondering how cold it is and what the conditions are.

Just heard back from the water district and they are not releasing yet...she did say there was a lot of runoff?...I didn't think there was much of a drainage with the reservoir? She also stated that they plan to start releasing in mid May.

Doesn't sound like anyone has been down it yet...at least from this forum. Amount of snow, pots full? lots of questions.:crazy:

I'm guessing you would have a hard time getting the NPS to issue a Kolob permit at the moment. Just about everything that is effected by snow is currently closed and there is still snow on the ground in places at Lava Point.
