Hi peeps,
After living in Moab for the past 3 years, I got a better job offer in Salt Lake City (my hometown). So I will be moving mid-May sometime. I'm hoping to see more of you.
Cheers!

Very true. Nothing beats the amenities of the big city. I'm stoked to be back!

Any chance your old job in Moab would hire me? I'd love to get back to Utah

Nope a consulting firm downtown. It will require a small amount of travel. But the pay is the same, and the benefits are better.
Moab is a great place to visit, but it kinda sucks to live there (nepotism, tourism, 250 mile drive to anything close to civilization, lack of diversity, schools not the best, etc, etc, etc).

I read that as no strip clubs. :haha:

Welcome back to the Salt Lake valley!
Be prepared for all the questions about, "What high school did you go to?" I understand this is very important information. :lol8:

Talking with my river buddies, most of them are from Grand Junction, I hear there are 2 WalMarts there! I guess I was under the impression that it was the same size as Moab.

GJ has a population of around 50,000....the Grand Valley overall is about twice that.

Wal-mart isn't exactly the kind of 'civilization' I'm going for. And by the way, there's no Wal-Mart in Moab, nor do I think there ever will be. The Moabites have fought Wal-Mart for many, many years.

Maybe not in Moab....but possibly just over the county line south of Moab one day...
