Extra Permit for Mystery Canyon

So 2 of us put in for permits to do Mystery Canyon in late June and both of us got drawn for the same day. It is only for 2 people. However, I am unsure how to make the extra permit available for others to use. What is the protocol for relinquishing one of my 2 permits?

Just keep it, you paid for it. Better to enjoy the canyon with less people IMO. :2thumbs:

If you did want to release it, just tell them at the desk when you pick up your other permit that you don't need it.

You call the desk and tell them you will not be able to use one of the permits. 435-772-0170
