Where to hike and camp (for free) w/dog in southern Utah

Not sure how south he is looking for, but I'm a big fan of Spring Canyon in the San Rafael Swell. I was there two weeks ago with my dog and she had a blast.

went to S.F. Swell- started out at the Wedge- amazing-
Did a lot of exploring from there- What an great spot- Not a lot of people - saw them coming in as I was leaving yesterday- I will be BACK !!
