Questions about Quandary

Has anyone gone through Quandary direct recently? How much water is in the pot holes, if any? Reading trip reports it seems like the Swell is fairly dry right now. I

I have no clue about water, but two people should be no problem. Two potshots should be fine, remember you always have your pack if you get in a bind and need more.

I've done the direct route before as a pair and just used a pack toss (one backpack) to defeat all the potholes.

We did it last May in low water conditions with two pot shots. It worked great for us.

hopefully you made it through alright! we did the direct route last week and the first big keeper was a bitch. seemed just deep enough that you had to swim so made it a longer lip to get out. other than that the direct route was pretty cruiser. we used 3 potshots and that seemed to work perfectly with our haul bag when we needed it. hope you had/have fun!
