I have been working on this list of the lightest locking carabiners available. I'm only including lockers that are 60 grams or less. I am going off of the manufacturers listed weight. There really isn't a reason I'm doing this, just for fun. But let me know if you know of any to add to the list.

Among the sub 46 gram biners, are there any standouts?

Stand out when they hit you in the face after being sucked through the anchor's quicklink?

Careful there, we'll be hearing from Oldno7. No I mean are these fungible or is one a better buy or function better than another?

I have a couple Trango Superflys and I love them. I haven't tried any of the others under 46g.

I would like to know the lightest keylock carabiner. Maybe cheapest... Maybe lightest large biner

I think the BD Positron's I recently picked up for $6.35 are the lightest. On the wallet anyway.

Where from? Not many options here on Maui... if any.

They were on special at Backcountry Gear, picked up 6 along with some other gear. $7.95 now. But I see they're $5.99 at ALS (http://www.alssports.com/Black-Diamond-Positron-Screwgate-Carabiner/ECPDMAKJHFDKGDGH/product), if you can spread the shipping or reach $75 for free.

The DMM Phantom is quite a bit lighter than the Positron and it is a keylock. As for finding the best prices try spadout.com. Best tool for shopping for outdoor gear ever invented.
