I am headed to Glenwood Springs CO this week. Meeting a friend in Green River, UT on Wed we would like to leave one car in Green River and carpool the rest of the way to CO be back on Sunday. Any ideas where I could leave a vehicle that it would be safe and not get towed away?

Try Green River State Park. River trips are launched from there and there's a huge lot. I can't say they'll let you, perhaps you need a permit for river travel? Maybe call first. Otherwise I'm at a loss for anything right in town. There are some trail heads closer to the Swell you could park at.

The State Park will let you do this, but they will charge you.

You could also try the gas stations at the west end of town (the ones with the Subway and Arbys). They let us do the same thing before (especially the one with the Subway).

Thx bowjunkie! Appreciate the offer. The whole reason we are doing this is cuz it is my bestest friend for 35 years and we want to chit chat as long as we can. Green River is the first point our paths cross as we head to Glenwood Springs otherwise we would just drive our cars all the way. Girly talk ya know. :lol8:
