Hey all!
I came across this forum via the climb-utah.com site (where I joined the Circle of Friends). Lots of good info here and there!
I'm not a noob to the outdoors. Grew up a boy sprout and all that, did climbing back before it got popular (but just into the "clean climbing" age), got into mountain bikes before they got real popular, all that stuff. I'm 50-ish, and don't plan on slowing down until I have to.
I don't climb any more, but do still go out camping and hiking. I've gotten into canyoneering the past few years, as it's a great canvas for one of my other passions, landscape photography.
I'm not as spry as I was but I still enjoy getting out every chance I get. I'm doing mostly non-technical stuff now (Little Wild Horse was one of my first canyons), although I'm not averse to doing some easy technical stuff as a "second".
Anyway, I'm glad to be here!
