Birch hollow/ north fork road conditions.

I'm in saint George this week and was wondering if anyone was aware of the conditions in Birch hollow. Id live to drive over to the park but want to make sure its worth my time. Also, if the road is passable. I have a very capable 4x4 but I know how bad that mud gets. We were turned back by mud and snow last year at this time but last year was an exceptional snow year and this year is dry. I just don't know how much different it is on a year like this. Any special or new hazards in the canyon?

Called the ponderosa and sounds like we're good to go. I don't know why it didn't cross my mind sooner. The GM happens to be a family friend.
