Fun in the Sun

What a beautiful day it was! The temps were in the 60's, the sun was shining brightly, and I even caught a couple of fish.

Floating was in the plans at first.

My trip required a nice little detour to see some awesome sights and to throw for some browns.

Incredible country.

I really needed that drive. The 19" brown was a good bonus too!

Eventually, I got to the lake, but the wind was howling and the pontoon turned out to be nothing more than added drag. It was enough to really affect any casting, so I left after catching a rainbow.

Quite alright though, as I had a really good time playing around in the sunshine.

How does the pontoon on the roof affect your gas mileage ? I usually air up at the location. Nice fish and write up as usual. :2thumbs:

I could tell there was more drag than usual. The Rodeo gets pretty bad mileage to start, so I didn't really notice.
