Gold Butte, Nevada

More of a region, Gold Butte is roughly the area west of the NV-AZ state line, east of Lake Mead, north of Lake Mead, and south of I15. The area has a few very rough roads and fewer established trails. Gold Butte has lots of sandstone wonders, rock art, modern history, and plenty of opportunities for solitude.

I've been out there a few times. In fact, I'm pretty sure the spare tire to my 5th wheel is sitting out there someplace.

I love GoldButte. There are tons of areas to explore and some super nifty stuff all the way back at the river/lake. Used to be able to ride all over that place on a dirt bike now they've really cut down on some of the trail options there. One of the coolest desert oasis's I've ever seen is out there.
