My wife is always an early morning runner and has a special love to get out in the snow before plows make rounds. This morning our daughter was awake so I was handling and when I got back out of her room I saw my wife's tracks in the snow. Had to set up for a few cold shots before I got back to bed. Proud husband of a dedicated runner. Shot taken at 5:30am in about 5 inches of new snow.

Does she do anything special to keep her feet dry? I've been using snow as an excuse to not run lately and would like to remove it.

This is a great shot. It just turned into summer a few weeks ago here in Central Oregon, so I'm not missing the snow, but this is beautiful.

Lot of folks around here use Yak Trax for ice/snow running (not for dryness, but to avoid slipping). There's always the attractive option of plastic bags for keeping dry....:haha:
