Hi, we are looking for a great 2 or 3 night backpacking trip in Southern Utah or Arizona in early May. We did Coyote Gulch last year and absolutely LOVED it, but would perhaps try something a bit different to that as well this year. A reliable source of water is important to us I think.
Suggestions so far include Grand Gulch (but sorta looks like Coyote Gulch with ruins to me), Pariah (which all the permits are booked), and Canyonlands. I've never been to Canyonlands, and I can't really figure that place out because it seems so huge, and water seems like it's scarce. Any suggestions on Canyonlands, or other places that we are overlooking?? You guys are the experts!
Oh, also looked at Havasupai Falls but it's already all booked.
