A question for anyone that has witnessed the dagger on the Solstice Snake, what time of day does this event occur? After visiting the site I assume its some time around mid-morning?

When Randy and I were there last year, it started around 10:15am / 10:30am IIRC. The "dagger" (arrowhead) doesn't last long and begins to diffuse quickly.

The Solstice Snake route description is listed on Climb-Utah.com. Now is the perfect time of year to do this hike. The route has little shade so you want to do it while the temperature is still cool.
