Bad timing last spring sent me to Mississippi for the prime fox kit time up where I live. With several dens now located I can't wait for the spring to get here so I can work them. Here's some looks at past years efforts.

Goal this year will be to get a ton of shots, hopefully in good lighting. Always seemed to be battling the light in past years.

Very nice shots! What is that object under his tail in the first pic? An old glove or something?

It was a glove. That den in just a hundred yards or so from an area with a lot of development. Lots of "trash" around the den that the young were playing with. It's also the last time I've found that den active. It's a constant battle against development and ranchers to get the shots in. Either development runs them off or ranchers kill them off. Not unusual to find a whole den killed off each spring. Sad but having come from a horse farm where groundhogs were unacceptable on the property I guess I can at least understand the ranchers feelings.
