Our dog is a cairn terrier named Maddie. She is a great dog who is always excited to see me. If my day was rough, she doesn't care and will come looking for me. She is an excellent family dog, great with kids and easy going. She LOVES hanging out on the beach and biting the waves as they come in.

Reminds me of my Westie, Ivan the Terrible, now gone to doggie heaven.
Going for a walk, or a ride in the truck, were his favorite things to do. He would stare at his leash until I took the hint and took him out.
No amount of snow was too much for him, even with his short little legs. I wish I had a fraction of his enthusiasm for life and adventure.
