CFI Spin Training

I have the lucky job of giving our CFI students their spin training. a student put this clip on youtube of us over the Arizona desert near Bullhead City last week. Not bad video for a phone.

That has to be rush and a half for the students first time.

I'll never forget my first spin! Like my first jump out of a perfectly functional airplane - I just about totally forgot what to do, because the experience was so overwhelming!

Here in Canada, spin recovery is required for all private licenses. Have they changed that in the States yet, Les?

no doing spins is not required for private or commercial students. just power on and power off stalls. the only checkride you need a spin endorsement for is the certified flight instructor.
