Nice pics, The 2nd one I would change up a bit though. Not an expert so probably using the wrong terminology, but I would turn down the HDR saturation on the cactus and ground area? Leave the sky alone though, looks awesome man.

no hdr here. single exposure. raw processed in canon dpp then gimp'ed a little bit in .jpg. light was really flat but for the sky and background, so i tried to create some local contrast on the foreground w/ dodge n burn of highlights, midtones, and shadows independently to varying degrees.
