Call your shot.

Who will be in the Super Bowl and who will win?

I need a few minutes to think this over, but boy are the Giants peaking at the right time....hmmm.

I think I'm in the minority in that I think that the 49'rs will beat the saints.

So;
Niners vs packers
Texans vs patriots
Packers vs patriots

I think 3 of the 4 games should be excellent. The Balt/Hou game is the only one that I don't care about watching.
Unfortunately I'm going to miss the first half of Den/NE as I'll be shooting a hockey game...

And this from a New Englander! :2thumbs: Cool!
Obviously I'd PREFER it the other way, but their awful defense will be their undoing whenever they end up losing, I just hope they make the Super Bowl before losing, and a NE/NO or NE/GB game would be a wicked exciting/high scoring game. If it's Balt/San Fran, I won't even watch ;)

 Oh well.....there's always next year. Saints had a great season, but they should've stepped up earlier in the game today! First LSU on Monday and now the Saints - this is going to be one sad city for awhile......at least until Mardi Gras gets into full swing that is! :2thumbs:

What kind of sauce goes best with crow? :ne_nau:

Gritty win by the Niners, I didn't think they had that in them. One of the most exciting endings to a game I've seen in a long time...

Can not believe that my packers lost to the giants. Unbelievable. Makes me want to throw up.

My prediction is still intact. :2thumbs:

The Giants are hot right now and Manning had WAY too much time in the pocket. The Packers couldn't catch a pass to save their life...

And if it weren't for those two awful calls (the non fumble in the first half and the roughing the passer in the second), the game wouldn't have even been as close as it was tonight. The Giants are scary good on both sides of the ball right now....

Gag me!!:puke8: Any other team! Even ugh the Ravens!

Just a bias to all NY teams (the evil empire) from a New England upbringing.:bootyshake:

K! Who is winning Sunday and headed to the Super Bowl?

I picked New England and New York, but I hope the 49ers can pull it off. :2thumbs:

I think we're in for two great games tomorrow (though I hope the first one isn't in much doubt, I have a feeling it will be)... I'm sticking with the Patriots winning and since both of the teams I predicted in the NFC lost, I'll say Giants for a rematch of SB 42...

two outstanding games yesterday with the winners extremely fortunate that their opponents committed unfortunate mistakes.

As much as it pains me to say, I think the Giants will win, something in the ballpark of 27-24...

yeah, he and Cundiff aren't going to be making too many public appearances in their respective towns, I reckon.

kind of a sad deal.... as he is not the teams return man and was just filling in, I don't think he had returned a kick all year. Ted Ginn is the teams normal return man and one of the best in the NFL, but he was injured last week in the Saints game. Ginn's sprained ankle cost the 9ers a trip to the Superbowl.

This week has been really busy for me and I cant believe its now only a couple days away. I gotta keep my pick that the Giants will win...

Who is having a big Super Bowl party?

Heading to a best bud's birthday/super bowl party, and I can't flippin' wait. It has been a long 2 weeks (though quite eventful), and it's been hard to concentrate at work today!
I have very low expectations for the Patriots (especially compared to 2008), I expect the Giants will win, and won't be as bummed when they do, though it would be awesome if the Patriots pull this one out (Without Gronkowski healthy it is going to be a tough hill to climb)... No outcome would really shock me (a blow out either way or a very close game) though the Giants are just playing the best football, and are the most balanced team in the league right now. Though no 9-7 team has ever won......

GO BIG BLUE!!!!! (I am a New Yorker that transplanted to Utah years ago)

Heading over to a buddies house to watch the game. I have a feeling there might be quite a bit of smack talking as he is originally from Boston. Looking forward to it!!!! Wasn't able to watch 2008 with him, but he certainly heard about it. Hoping that doesn't come back around to me this year!

My prediction is the Superbowl halftime show will be much too long.

and what's the deal with Madonna preforming? Wasn't her 15 minutes of fame about 20 years ago?

I'd take her (and just about anyone) over the garbage we had last year

Going to a friend's house who will do the same thing this year as he did last year. Cajun feast plus untold numbers of King cakes (it's Mardi Gras time). He has two big screen tvs hooked up in different rooms - one which will have this year's Superbowl playing and the other one with the 2010 Superbowl video where the Saints won! :haha: Gotta love those diehard Saints fans! :hail2thechief:

Since Eli Manning is a local boy, the town is behind the Giants. :2thumbs:
