Snowshoeing - Pics!

We bought our kids snow shoes for Christmas and want to take them this Saturday somewhere. Any recommendations along the Wasatch front right now given the minimal snowfall? I haven't been up Big or Little Cottonwood lately, which trails have decent snow for a 6, 9 and 12 year old?

I was up about a week and a half ago and the trails further up the canyon are OK.. you might want to go hang out at the solitude nordic center.. the avy forcast right now is not so hot so going into backcountry with potential steep angles could be iffy..

Not sure about the conditions, but for routes check out http://www.snowshoeutah.com/Table-of-Contents.html. The great thing about snowshoes is that you don't need much or very good snow. Just watch those slope angles.

Made it up Little Cottonwood Canyon during the heaviest part of the snowing. Great time with the kids on their first snowshoeing adventure!
