-15F as I write this (but strangely the weather station is reporting only -5F downtown?), but tonight is supposed to be in the -20's:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Craig&state=CO&site=GJT&textField1=40.52&textField2=-107.55&e=1

The local saying is that it is not winter yet until the temp drops to -20F, so maybe in the monring it will be OK to refer to the season as winter.

It has been in the teens here in Northern Utah for the last few mornings and at night. I had to turn up my heated gear on high this morning...with the wind chill its around -20. :cold:

All I know is, we got a blizzard in October, and it's 62 degrees on December 6 here in New Hampshire. That ain't right.

If this dry cold spell continues, I may have to head to the PNW for some snow since we seem to be getting none. Mt Hood anyone?

I had -19F this morning (without the windchill), but it still didn't get as cold as predicted. It looks like it's going to be back to above zero nights by Saturday morning, so at least cool spell will be short.

It has been nothing but a tease here today. Sunny and beautiful when you look outside, but walk out there without a jacket and it is cold :cold: 38F earlier at least that is what my car said and now 42F :lol8: I know.... I know that is not -19F, but I think I am becoming a candyass after living in the heat of the summer down here.

I am sitting her with a blanket wrapped around me, coffee in hand and a sweatshirt on. Ridiculous! But I will only trade you forecasts if it includes SNOW and a ton of it with a mountain and ski resort at my disposal. Otherwise guess I will just stay put and laugh at myself and you. :cool2: Enjoy your -19F below.

Last night it hit 30F at the airport! There was stuff on my car that I had to scrape off! There's talk that it may plummet to 28F on Thursday! :cold:

We just spent over 10 large on a furnace/heat pump combo last week, so at least we're cozy at home. And we will no longer have to suffer through those 2 weeks in summer when the mercury hits a sweltering 82F. :knary:
