My Brother in Law took me biking down in Arizona at the San Tan Mountain Regional Park near Queen Creek Arizona, just outside of Phoenix.

From the trail head the path is pretty wide in all directions for maybe a mile, but then it will turn into decent singletrack. It's a regional park so there is a network of maybe 5 different trails we made a loop out of. We put in probably 10 miles of riding, and then I took a pretty nasty tumble:

Here's the video from the ride:

So here's the Trip Report before the crash. Since this was my only experience with Arizona mountain biking, I'm not sure how it rates, but I would ride it again. The plan was to head up to the Superstition Mountains area and hit some trails up there too, but that couldn't happen.

Here's our route, in two maps. We took a Burger King break between the two

This first map calculates 8.4 miles

And this second map includes the trip to the hospital :haha:

Looks like a fun trail! I have to say Justin your getting really good at mixing the video. I like when you set the camera off the trail and ride past it and laugh when you have it on your helmet aimed down and you get a partial face shot. :lol8: That section around 1:53 looks sweet!

Only 9 bolts hold my front wheel on and 10 on the rear wheel. I have had the stem bolts become loose where they attach to the steer tube. Thank goodness no major wrecks have occured from bike malfunctions.
