This one was kinda fun: http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48820
Could do it from the STG side. It's an easy change of pace ride. Would there be too much snow though?

WEll now just when I was thinking to put the little tank on you all had to show me the answer:hail2thechief:
The drive train needs a little work as well 20 mpg faster I say.
Found that the old replacement front was only a 13 woo hoo.
THe rear was a 47 and now a 48.
Front will be 14 as should be.
I like the Idea of well just let's say back to stock:cool2:
And after careful consideration the beast will return to a beast:fitz::fitz::fitz:
Sorry to hear DBL MOO if you can't find others to ride down here I will ride with you just ask!

.Snow. is a four letter word around here brother.:lol8::lol8::lol8:
The high country can hold some on the north side well into a week at 7000k level but not to worry as it is still very early into winter down here:naughty:
But that can change at any time pending storms in the high country.
The look out tower at top of Black Rock has been known for 4-5 foot snows middle of winter.
Just saying.
The nice thing about this country is that even in the winter there is always a go around. And around and around if need be.:lol8:

Nelsson ccc has something up his sleeve for Dec. but I think he might just show up
for this and hopefully his side kick Texican:haha:
Hi Jared. Or rather Howdy Rowdy.
It would be nice to see 40cal too. HINT HINT.
There has been some snow in the high country but it is almost gone as fast as it shows it's ugly head.
The jeep boys love this but are always sideways in the far ruts in compound gear.
Blllllloup se ya girls.

Jarrod and I are working on coming the 9th. Might be hard, I'm already taking off from the 16th to the 29th to go to NY for christmas. Is the plan to ride all day fri and sat? Is it a street legal required ride or something else?

This is a Bogley ride so we don't really have "plans" if you know what I mean. :haha: Some of us might not even have tools or repair supplies in the case that our bike breaks down. :facepalm1: :roflol:
I was thinking of riding for a day out at Warner Valley and another day maybe over the mountain to Mesquite and back. We shouldn't really need a plate for either...unless you don't have the range: http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48820
But I am easy, if there is a new place or a better ride in St. George then lets do it. The current plan would give us a technical (sorta ride) one day and an easy dirt road kinda exploring scenery day the other.
Thoughts?

Dam sam that's a hole dam week between the 9th and the when ever the Frigg Christmas NY crap :cool2:
Everybody should get a good dose of red sand whoops just because thanks gorging is over and and we all need to make less room for x-mas goodies.
Hey does this mean 40 cal is in?
Acca a 21" tube works just as well in the rear Baby. LOL

Dammit 40 cal. I hate to hear of anybody selling their ride due to work.
Just aint right brother.
It happens But.
My prayers are in the right direction for you 40.
Hope to see you and don't sell it for a Bronco ride fix.:lol8::lol8:
Maybe we all need to crawl before we walk but----------------------- Sometimes you just need to fly to feel the dirt under you................
If I was in the market i'd buy it and tease the living shit out of you with both bikes I know you love to ride LOL.
Either way say howdy when you come by rock crawling.
And just take the time off you deserve for a little ride before you sale.
You know if you can pull that rabbit out of your ass. Easier said than done sometimes....................

Funny Guy!:angryfire: The ironic part is that I just ordered a 30count box of Co2 cartridges not more than an hour ago. I'm going to add pretension to my rear spring so I can bring a tool box:lol8:

unless you don't have the range: [URL]http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php? BTW, I have an additional mount on my rack for another gallon, making 2 added gallons. Hell, Mtn Seeker has enough fuel for the whole crew!! For what it's worth.

Yep, there is a 2012 WR with my name on it. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Yamaha will be shipping until March.
I did pick up an economy bike last night, a "needs work" YZ250, 2006. I have a parts list to order tonight.:2thumbs:
Likely will have the old dirty SOB yz450 still since there are hundreds of the same for sale...

Talked with Jarrod last night. Neither of us can swing getting friday off and I have to be back in town saturday afternoon by 4. We still want to ride with you guys. What do you say about meeting in the middle saturday morning? We could ride Logandale (which has a fantastic trail system) saturday. We could meet there saturday morning and easily get in a great day of riding and then you guys can hit the buffet on the way home.......tempting......
Logandale is amazing.

http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?34171-TR-Logandale-Nevada
It would be an hour drive for you guys if you're coming from St. George and 30 minutes if coming from Mesquite.
What do ya think?

12-02-2011, 10:01 AM
Yup, 6.3 glns may seem a little bit much but I'm hoping to put it to good use next spring in central and northern Nevada for about a week.
Man I'm sorry to hear the bike is up for sale. Hope it's because somebody is in the market for a new one.
I for one am tempted on the Logandale ride.
Never rode there and it does look like fun.
Sorry you guy's can't swing fri.

That works for me and looks fun and yeah the buffet. :eat: I know Garbanzo like sand riding so he should be cool with it. :naughty:
We could ride around STG on Friday.

Looks like sunny weather and around low 50's for ST. George Fri. and mid 50's Sat. in Logandale with mostly sun for the two.
The mornings are another thing alltogether but hey the winds should be a bit more mellow:lol8:

That KTM looks sweet, I like a lot of things about it. Not sure if it's worth 1.5 grand more than a blue bike but it is impressive.

You gotta just love the flavor thing. You have Blueberry, Cherry and Twang.:lol8: Or better known as tree bouncers/uprooters.
However I do believe that twangers are about the best out of the box and ready to rock and roll !!!!
But after you buy them and prep them the money thing says twong LOL.

Last Sat. the temps were in the mid 30's but the wind was in the mid 40's.
I went out to Warner Valley and we had just enough rain/snow to make the first rides up the whoops great but after about 7-8 hard core riders it was a real chore to keep the front wheel were you wanted it and the wind and temps blew me right off a trail or two.
Had a chance to do some real cross country traveling back down a wash or two to get back to the trail:lol8:
It was great and it was a bioch.
Just not enough moister to keep things right unless you were not the one breaking trail so to speak.

Friday: Meet at the In-N-Out Burger in the AM. Ride Warner. What time? Maybe after breakfast. Maybe meet somewhere for breakfast. Thoughts?
Saturday: Nelson? Meet where and what time? A few of us will be traveling from STG.

If it were me after a 4-5 hr. drive I think Breakfast would be nice.
But it is all good.
I'll keep my eye on here and see how it goes.
A few directions on the Logandale Trails will help for those of us that have not ridden there before.
Logandale Trails look like they have some serious washes out there and I mean huge from what little I have seen.
After looking at that 012 KTM 350, and it's nice as hell, I just realized my bike is 11yrs old.
Is this 350 a faster than what you have now kinda bike or a better trail style bike?

We'll be riding out at Logandale. It's 65 miles south of st. george. You want to take exit 93 south toward logandale. Once in logandale you'll take a left onto Liston ave (theres a chinese restaurant on the corner). Then you'll turn right onto pioneer which will turn to dirt. Once you cross the traintracks it'll be 2.91 miles to ourt typical parking spot ( 36

Cool-8:30 it is for Sat. morn.
Now were are we on Fri. meet up?
There is an Ihop just down the road from In and Out that is open at 6:00am. 275 S. Green Springs (3050 E).
Denny's is open 24hrs but down to next exit just off of ST. George Blvd. 155N 1000 E. If I remember right the parking lot is pretty small there.

My time, Utah time sucks!

12-08-2011, 05:55 PM
That reminds me of a joke I once heard.
Why is it so windy in NEVADA?
Cause Utah sucks and California blows.:lol8::lol8::lol8:
Sorry I just could'nt help myself.
Mtnseeker1
12-08-2011, 06:11 PM
Yea I know.
Just don't get me started on those NV. windbags, I mean Nevadians.
Ok just having fun here because most are still doing last min. preps on there scoots and, well, hmm I'd be the funny flicker lmao in the corner.
I think the trick here is to ride 3-4 times a week and maintain 4-5 times a week and if you think my math is off you'd be right.
Anyhow sorry you southern boys are going to miss out on the fri ride. See ya sat.

Some of the nicest guys you could meet. accadacca, garboza, macheti,Jerod, and nelsonccc. oops an Mark.
It was a real pleasure having my hat handed to on both days.
The weather could not have been better if special ordered for this weekend.
Plenty of whoops, sand, hill climbs and yes my favorite, ROCKS.:lol8:
Looking forward to some of the vids. And riding with you all again in the future.
No serious injuries and everybody seemed to have the same shit eating grin by the end of the day.
