My dad and I hit up the Weber river near Taggart on Saturday morning since we had a couple of hours to kill. It was rainy/snowy the whole time but fishing was decent. I hooked up with 4 or 5 small browns and 3 or 4 white fish in the 18"-20" range. I even managed to get a double(see pic)! The Weber is now really low and clear for the first time since the Spring.

That looks like a lot of fun. It's great to have some fishable water in the Weeb for now. It won't last too long though. They're planning on doing some repairs on the dam at Echo and they'll have to drain the lake, for the most part. The good water is only temporary, so enjoy it while you can!
Nice double!

Up until a few weeks ago the water had been really murky because they were cleaning the silt out of echo. Guess I'll have to start hitting the Ogden when they drain it.

We were the only two people on the river the whole time. It was raining and snowing though so that might have had something to do with it ... Water levels were low enough that someone on a tube would have had to walk in a few places also :-)
