1) If it is misspelled and should be "Deuce"...? Nickname of a climber. Also a technique for lowering out and passing a fixed placement on an aid climb, aka, "Deucey".

1. Il Duce was the name for Benito Mussolini, "The Leader" or "The Duke".
2. I have lost bagarinos in many canyons, but most i have lost in my carport and back room, which are in the Canyon of the East Fork of the Virgin River.
3. I have lost many, including Tan, Red, Teal, Desert Orange and Khaki.
4. A. Bullock is full and complete on it's own. Bullock is a Zion-area pioneer family name. Plenty of 'em in the graveyards around here. A. is a first initial, and given the local propensity to keep things short, like used as the "name i like to be called".
