Spent a few minutes trying to visualize some of the "Access" related ideas thus far. What do folks think?

Very beneficial to openly share your draft ideas, with a good deal of context and nuance. The climbing community has a strong access fund and alliance and from that comes the impression I believe, that canyoneers should foster a similar model. Personally though, I don't think it needs to be a front and center driver when modeling the potential framework of a new organization.
Think about the process of writing and editing. An editor potentially, looking at someone's draft piece, will take paragraphs and pieces and move them around, to gain different attention, mood or benefit. In your case, I don't don't wish to edit your piece but offer a different conceptual view, which I belive comports mostly with what you offer.
Some ideas. (which I already shared in another post)
American Canyoneers;
Three prong mission (kiss - keep it simple stupid) (I'm not saying that to you) (That's a long ago, slang teaching term)
Service - to the canyoneering community
Stewardship - re public lands and community
Partnership - with Public land managers and/or private land owners.
I see Access fitting within the SERVICE component, and ACTIVISM fitting in either Service or Stewardship. Education would fit within the Service mode too.
There is great benefit in the synergy of ideas. Possibly my ideas should be tipped upside down, moved or whatever?
Regardless, I'd start with simple ideas and then branch out in more detail; but as I state above; at least in my view, Access is a branch and not a trunk, at least as an organizational model. And the word Access doesn't match the term SERVICE, at least in my mind and eyes.
From what I've seen in the past 15 years, there needs to be a ground shift from the OLD ACA model and/or from other canyoneering groups or clans. So often control, direction and ego become the current that runs a group. I'd turn it around and put SERVICE front and center. Service to the canyoneering group, service to the public lands and service to public land managers. Folk tire if groups are dominated by strong personalities and egos. If they know and sense though that the organization is Service driven and wants to and is going to assist them, then they will rally in support. And if land managers know the same (and recognize that the group is an advocate at times) then a real partnership can arrive.
So, managing a model of a potential new group. What does the group stand for and whats it's mission? Simple words (and then background to explain or detail it). Will be interesting to see how others model or package views.
