So I have a running debate in my head as to what is better and I was wondering what everyone else is using for their base camp/car camping stove...
Dual Fuel - Gas/white gas/colman fuel
or
Propane

I have been using propane for years, but recently have been debating making a nice car camping kitchen box and it has made me question when I build it if I should build it for a propane stove or a dual fuel stove.. I know there are pros and cons to each.. what pushed you over the edge into what you are using now?

I like propane because I can hock up my lantern and stove to the same 30 lb propane tank. http://www.survivalequipment.net/p170G.jpg

I use both. When out in sub-zero temps, I take the dual-fuel (it won't succumb to freezing like propane does). Propane for everything else since its so versatile.

I like white gas. It is cheap, works in cold temps, and you always know how much of it you have. I think that Coleman started to sell so many propane stoves and lamps because they can then sell you those little non-refillable propane bottles. Those bottles cost a lot considering how much actual propane is in the bottle.

All my stoves are dual fuel.
