MOUNTAIN GREEN -- A Mountain Green (http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=17253096#map) couple lost one of its pet pygmy goats to a hungry bear, which was shot when it tried to attack a second goat.
Wendy Wardell was getting ready for bed Monday night when she heard something unusual.
"I heard this awful screaming sound that I've never heard from my goat. The little one, which is Gretel, was running around the backyard," Wardell said. "My husband got out of bed and looked out the bedroom window - which, you can see the goat pen from there -- and he yelled,

Interesting, this year has seen a lot of bears in the area.

when you going to get a bear at Basin on you gopro? sure they have been walking around up there, but I hope to not see a bear while on my bike, it will really make me re-consider solo rides if they start poping up more and more.

I dunno, I'd probably prefer to see one while on my bike. It'd be a faster getaway. :mrgreen:

I know they are there but I would rather see one in yellowstone and not in our good old snowbasin, ogden areas. Maybee the Moose will keep them out?
