Over the Labor Day weekend I decided to head down to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park to revisit some rock art and to find some new panels. I explored a lot of the park in my Jeep and on foot. I drove over Elephant Hill a few times and I ended up camping just outside of the park in Bobbys Hole. I even found the time to take a quick side trip up into Beef Basin. Here

Really nice to see the rock art. I may have to make a trip down there sometime. Thanks for the pictures.

Nice shots Randy. You should do a book on rock art.

Did you happen to notice if Salt Creek is open? Nowadays it always seems to be closed because there's "too much water."

Salt Creek was not open and had not been open this year. They didn't foresee it opening up this year...which is why I decided to hike to Peekaboo since I've tired of waiting for the road to open up again...
